Do You EAT Food or Do You USE It?
If you use food for anything other than hunger, then you don't need another diet, you need emotional rescue. Food is not meant to solve anything other than hunger… but you may be using food as an all-purpose solution for feelings of boredom, loneliness, physical pain, anger or sadness. Even so, food is not the problem. Food is delicious and nourishing and meant to be enjoyed, but not to take over your life. By uncovering the ways you might be using food and finding ways to solve the emotions at their source, food will take its natural place as something you eat to fuel your body. You will hold food blameless, and enjoy every bite more.
